Lebanese Palestinian Dialogue Committee

استقبل رئيس لجنة الحوار اللبناني الفلسطيني السفير رامز دمشقية وفدًا من اتحاد المهندسين الفلسطينيين في لبنان في السراي الحكومي، ضم: رئيس الاتحاد أحمد الخطيب، ناجي دوالي، فراس الصالح، محمد الخطيب.
وشدد السفير دمشقية خلال اللقاء على حرص اللجنة على استكمال وتعزيز قنوات التواصل عبر تسهيل حوارات مشتركة بين نقابتيّ المهندسين في بيروت والشمال والاتحاد لفتح أفق التعاون وتمتين العلاقات.
وأكد متابعة العمل مع وزارة الاشغال العامة والنقل التي أبدت كل الاستعداد للتعاون في ما يتعلق موضوع إعطاء إذن مزاولة مهنة للمهندسين الفلسطينيين.

The Chairman of the Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee Ambassador Ramez Dimechkie, received a delegation from the Palestinian Engineers Union in Lebanon .

The delegation included Union President Ahmad Al-Khatib, Naji Dawali, Firas Al-Saleh, and Mohammad Al-Khatib.

During the meeting, Ambassador Dimechkie stressed the committee’s commitment to continuing and strengthening communication channels by facilitating joint dialogue between the Beirut and North Lebanon Orders of Engineers and the Union, with the aim of opening new channels for cooperation and reinforcing relations.

He also confirmed the continuation of efforts with the Ministry of Public Works and Transport, which has expressed full readiness to cooperate regarding the issue of granting Palestinian engineers permission to practice the profession.

وتؤكد اللجنة تمسّكها المطلق باستكمال إعادة الإعمار كخيار غير قابل للمساومة، باعتباره شرطًا جوهريًا لعودة الحياة الكريمة إلى المخيم، بالتوازي مع حماية الإرث الثقافي والتاريخي للموقع.

The Chairman of the Lebanese-Palestinian Dialogue Committee, Ambassador Ramez Dimechkie, and the Director of UNRWA Affairs in Lebanon, Dorothy Klaus, visited The Minister of Culture Ghassan Salameh to discuss the latest developments concerning the protection of archeological findings in Nahr al-Bared.

LPDC reaffirmed its firm commitment to completing the reconstruction of Naher El Bared Camp as a non negotiable fundamental condition for restoring a dignified life in the camp, alongside safeguarding the site’s cultural and historical heritage.
