Proud to highlight a success story from the WEE Project, funded by the Government of Canada and implemented by UNIDO and UNDP.
To date, the project has supported 96 MSMEs by providing access to essential equipment, quality improvement services, and market opportunities, empowering businesses to grow in a sustainable and resilient way.
يسرّنا تسليط الضوء على قصة نجاح من مشروع التمكين الاقتصادي للمرأة (WEE)، المموّل من حكومة كندا والمنفّذ من قبل منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية (اليونيدو) وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي.
حتى اليوم، قدّم المشروع الدعم لـ 96 مؤسسة صغيرة ومتوسطة من خلال توفير المعدات الأساسية، وخدمات تحسين الجودة، وتعزيز فرص الوصول إلى الأسواق، بما يمكّنها من النمو بطريقة مستدامة وأكثر قدرة على الصمود.

The 2Circular Project concluded with a high-level closing ceremony in Beirut, marking an important milestone in advancing circular economy practices within Lebanon’s industrial sector. The project supported Lebanese industries in adopting resource-efficient and innovative circular solutions, contributing to improved competitiveness and industrial resilience.
Through strong public–private collaboration, the project demonstrated that circular economy and resource efficiency are practical drivers of sustainable industrial transformation and economic recovery in Lebanon. The closing ceremony highlighted the role of partnership, innovation, and policy coherence in supporting a more inclusive and sustainable industrial future.
The 2Circular Project was funded by the European Union and implemented by the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), reaffirming the shared commitment to promoting sustainable industrial development and circular economy practices in Lebanon.
أُقيم الحفل الختامي لمشروع 2 Circular في بيروت، مسلّطًا الضوء على نتائج ملموسة في دعم التحول نحو الاقتصاد الدائري في القطاع الصناعي اللبناني.
وساهم المشروع في تعزيز كفاءة استخدام الموارد وتبنّي ممارسات صناعية مبتكرة، من خلال تعاون وثيق بين القطاعين العام والخاص.
بتمويل من الاتحاد الأوروبي نُفّذ المشروع من قبل منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتنمية الصناعية (UNIDO).
