Story time: The journey called breastfeeding.✨

According to research, Breastfeeding is a core part of “getting it right” in terms of nutrition in baby’s first 1,000 Days.

I choose to breastfeed my baby because it provides unmatched health benefits for my baby and me. I believe that breastfeeding is the clinical gold standard for infant feeding and nutrition, with breast milk uniquely tailored to meet the health needs of a growing infant.💚

Breastfeeding however, can be bumpy and a difficult ride. Every mom has different experiences, but once you succeed, everything is definitely worth it.🙌🏼

I have my fair share of struggles too as first time moms would normally have like oversupply of breastmilk and decreased supply as well.

I saw Krizzy Uy’s vlog that YOU SHOULD NEVER GIVE UP. KEEP ON TRYING. So ayun, I tried my best to relax, slow down, enjoy my time with my baby, pump as much as I can, eat healthy and keep myself hydrated and pray pray pray. My BM then became stable and I am so proud and happy to be breastfeeding for 10 months and counting!😇

The picture may be blur, but I guess I captured a precious moment in where he kissed his sister.
While I was still pregnant with my second, I prayed every night that he will love, care and protect her all the time.
Hopefully he will always be with her side to rescue her when she needed to.
