Compassion Protestant Society, together with the faithful members of the National Evangelical Church of Tripoli, offered a warm meal to around 100 displaced persons from South Lebanon.

More than a meal distribution, this initiative reflects our desire to foster solidarity, dignity, and human connection during this difficult season for Lebanon. In coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs, we are exploring ways to expand this initiative into a community gathering where congregation members and displaced families can share meals around one table.

As churches and communities cross over barriers, we hope to create spaces where displaced families and host communities can meet as neighbours sharing life together.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all partners and supporters who continue to stand with Lebanon in prayer, compassion, and action.

While many feel like all hope is lost, we remain faithful to our call: following the example of Jesus in all we do.

From day one of the renewed escalations, we equipped and enabled the National Evangelical Church in Saida to host the most vulnerable of the displaced families from border villages. Today, 11 people are sheltered safely within church premises, and more are arriving.

Our vision is to replicate and expand this initiative in other areas and churches, creating safe and dignified havens for those in need.

We ask for your prayers and support as we continue to expand these efforts. Soon, we will launch more projects in the field—stay connected, keep us in your prayers, and join us in bringing hope where it is most needed.

✨ Today, and with Friends of Syria Lebanon Partnership Network (SLPN), we visited the Compassion Community Centers in Minyara and Mijdlaya. We were pleased to meet Rev. Roula Sleiman, who warmly welcomed us and guided us through the historic National Evangelical School of Tripoli.

🙏 We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our partners at the Friends of Syria Lebanon Partnership Network (SLPN) for your generous and continuous support, and for standing with us in these uncertain times. Your presence brings strength and encouragement to our communities.
