Lebanon update: USD/LBP currently tapping 2,500, where the B/A spread has reached 100 lbp and will exceed this amount due to:
-Our market being inefficient at its best
-The usd turning to a thinly traded commodity (low supply in expectations of increase in value)
-No control whatsoever
-Few banks declared that they will not provide dollars on a daily basis anymore, with expectations of more banks following the same trend soon.
