في هذا الفيديو، نسمع من إحدى الطالبات المتطوعات التي شاركت في أنشطة بناء الثقة بين المجتمع المحلي والعائلات النازحة في مدرسة المربي البر حنا ايوب الرسمية.

من خلال كلماتها، نرى أثر هذه اللقاءات: الإصغاء، التقارب، والشعور بأننا معنيون ببعضنا البعض.

في وقت تتأثر فيه المجتمعات بالحرب، يصبح بناء الثقة بين الناس جزءًا أساسيًا من إعادة ترميم ما تتركه الأزمات بيننا.

هذه اللقاءات مهمّة، لأنها تذكّرنا أن المواطنة تبدأ عندما نخلق مساحات تجمع الناس، وتفتح المجال للفهم، الدعم، والمسؤولية المشتركة. ❤️

In this video, we hear from a student volunteer who took part in trust-building activities between the local community and displaced families at Albert Ayoub Public School.

Through her words, we see the impact of encounters like these: listening, connection, and the feeling that we are responsible for one another.

At a time when communities are affected by war, building trust between people becomes an essential part of rebuilding what crises leave between us.

These encounters matter because they remind us that citizenship begins when we create spaces that bring people together and open room for understanding, support, and shared responsibility. ❤️

شارك طلاب من ثانوية كفرحاتا الرسمية ومدرسة المربي البر حنا ايوب الرسمية في أنشطة لبناء الثقة، خلقت مساحة للحوار، الإصغاء، والتبادل بين المجتمع المحلي والعائلات النازحة.

لم تكن هذه الأنشطة مجرّد لقاء عابر. بل كانت فرصة للتعرّف على أقران قد تبدو تجاربهم بعيدة أو غير مألوفة، رغم أنهم يتشاركون البلد نفسه.

في هذا الفيديو، تشارك زينب، من العائلات النازحة، وميريام متطوعة من المجتمع المحلي، كيف ساعدهما هذا اللقاء على الانتقال من عدم الألفة إلى الشعور بالراحة.

هذه اللقاءات مهمّة. فخلق مساحات تواصل بين الطلاب هو خطوة أولى نحو لبنان أقوى وأكثر وحدة 🇱🇧

Students from Kfarhatta High School and Albert Ayoub Public School participated in trust-building activities that created space for dialogue, listening, and exchange between local and displaced communities.

For many, this was more than just an activity. It was a chance to meet peers whose realities may have felt distant or unfamiliar, despite sharing the same country.

In this video, Zainab, a displaced young person, and Mariam, a volunteer from the local community, share how this encounter helped them move from unfamiliarity to comfort.

These encounters matter. Creating spaces for students to connect is a first step towards a stronger, more united 🇱🇧

At Maroun Abboud Secondary School, students led a meaningful experience by implementing trust building activities with younger students from the displaced community within their school, which has become a space of support and care.

These were not just activities, but lived moments that nurtured empathy and a deep sense of responsibility toward others.

This is one of six schools where similar experiences are unfolding across different communities, with youth leading real pathways toward social cohesion.

Implemented under the leadership of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, in partnership with the School of Citizenship initiative, and supported by UNESCO Beirut, in collaboration with UNICEF, the Center for Educational Research and Development (CRDP), nafda, and TASC.

‎في ثانويّة مارون عبود - عاليه، قاد طلاب المرحلة الثانوية تجربة مميّزة، حيث نفّذوا أنشطة بناء الثقة مع طلاب أصغر سنًا من المجتمع النازح داخل مدرستهم التي تحوّلت إلى مساحة دعم واحتواء. لم تكن مجرّد أنشطة، بل ممارسات إنسانية حيّة عزّزت لدى الطلاب مشاعر التعاطف، والإحساس بالمسؤولية تجاه الآخر.

‎تُعدّ هذه التجربة واحدة من ست مدارس تشهد مبادرات مماثلة عبر مجتمعات مختلفة، حيث يقود الشباب مسارات حقيقية نحو التماسك الاجتماعي.

‎تم تنفيذ هذا العمل بقيادة وزارة التربية والتعليم العالي، وبالشراكة مع مبادرة “المدرسة المواطنيّة”، وبدعم من اليونسكو – بيروت، وبالتعاون مع اليونيسف، والمركز التربوي للبحوث والإنماء، وnafda، وTASC.
