How did Julius Caesar send secret DMs in 58 BC? 🏛️📜

Before modern encryption, there was the Caesar Cipher.

It’s a substitution technique where each letter in the text is “shifted” down the alphabet by a certain number of places.

Simple by today’s standards, but back then?

It was revolutionary for military security. ⚔️
