Learning Continues, Even in Difficult Times

MMKN, in collaboration with PM Dr. Inaya Ezzeddine , is currently conducting in-person educational sessions at Al Batrakieh School for 40 students from Grades 1 to 7.

The sessions are led by 7 volunteers, including 3 MMKN volunteers and 4 newly trained volunteers from the displaced community.

The volunteers received training from Mr. Nizar Rammal (For Development), who generously volunteered his expertise. MMKN Chairperson Ms. Ghada Feghali also joined the training to guide and support the volunteers.

To create a supportive learning space inside the shelter, MMKN provided:
• Stationery
• Art supplies
• Official school textbooks
• MMKN “Feel Good” manuals

Through these efforts, MMKN aims to restore a sense of normalcy, stability, and hope for children, even during the most challenging times.



التعليم مستمر رغم الظروف الصعبة

تقوم MMKN بالتعاون مع دولة الرئيس الدكتورة عناية عز الدين بتنفيذ جلسات تعليمية حضورية في مدرسة البطركية لصالح 40 طالبًا من الصف الأول حتى السابع.

يقود هذه الجلسات 7 متطوعين، بينهم 3 متطوعين من MMKN و 4 متطوعين جدد من المجتمع النازح.

وقد تلقّى المتطوعون تدريبًا من السيد نزار رمال (For Development) الذي تطوّع بوقته وخبرته، بحضور رئيسة الجمعية السيدة غادة فغالي التي شاركت بتوجيه المتطوعين ودعمهم.

ولتوفير بيئة تعليمية داعمة داخل مركز الإيواء، قدّمت MMKN:
• قرطاسية
• أدوات فنية
• نسخ من الكتب المدرسية
• كتيّبات Feel Good الخاصة بـ MMKN

بهذه المبادرة، تسعى MMKN إلى إعادة الأمل والاستقرار والشعور بالحياة الطبيعية للأطفال رغم الظروف الصعبة.

While war continues to threaten daily life in South Lebanon, the students of Ali Abdallah Public School in Khiyam refuse to let it steal their future. With MMKN, they continue attending their reinforcement sessions — even “under fire.”

In the face of uncertainty, these students show extraordinary courage and determination. Their message is clear: education will not stop, and hope will not be silenced.

We extend our deep gratitude to Ms. Norma Zalzali, the school principal, whose leadership and unwavering commitment ensure that learning continues despite the circumstances.

To our students and volunteers: your resilience is stronger than the war.



بينما تستمر الحرب في تهديد الحياة اليومية في جنوب لبنان، يرفض طلاب مدرسة علي عبدالله الرسمية في الخيام أن تسرق الحرب مستقبلهم. مع جمعية ممكن (MMKN)، يواصلون حضور جلسات الدعم التعليمي حتى تحت القصف.

في وجه الخوف والظروف الصعبة، يثبت هؤلاء الطلاب شجاعة وإصراراً استثنائيين. رسالتهم واضحة: التعليم لن يتوقف، والأمل لن يُقصف.

كل الشكر والتقدير لمديرة المدرسة الأستاذة نورما زلزلي على قيادتها والتزامها الكبير في ضمان استمرار التعليم رغم كل الظروف.
