🌍✨ On the occasion of International Migrants Day 2024, Migration Services and Development -MSD is pleased to share a statement from our donor CARAM Asia : "Building an Equitable Future for Migrants: Rights, Recognition, and Resilience." The statement highlights the crucial role of migrant workers in global development and the need to address the challenges they face on their journeys. 🚶‍♀️💼 Let’s work towards a future where migration is safe, fair, and equitable for all. 🌏💪

Through 16 peer-to-peer training sessions, 11 participants successfully completed the training proudly receiving certificates. 🌟

Skills in stress management, emotional expression, effective communication, and facilitation techniques were gained. Participants also gained practical tools to facilitate peer-to-peer sessions, such as active listening, session planning and organization, and group animation techniques. 💡 Two participants already led 6 psychosocial support sessions within their communities, creating a ripple effect of impact.

With renewed confidence, these communities are ready to continue making a difference, are ready to inspire and uplift those around them ! 🤝

As migrant workers and their families continue to navigate the challenges brought on by recent conflicts in Lebanon, MSD along with Clown Me In brought extra cheer and delivered an unforgettable performance filled with mime, balloons, games, and laughter. 🎈🤹‍♂️

The event aimed to uplift spirits, encourage creativity, and provide a sense of normalcy in the midst of the ongoing challenges. Seeing the smiles on both the children’s and adults' faces is a reminder of resilience and joy, even in the hardest times.💛
