From May 13–15, 2026, the German-Lao Association for Development, in collaboration with the Dakcheung District Education and Sports Office and local teachers, joyfully organized activities to celebrate International Children's Day 👧👦.

These activities were held under the "Community-Based Early Childhood Education Development Project," bringing joy and smiles to children across three schools: 🏫 Dakbong Kindergarten, 🏫 Xianglouang Kindergarten, and 🏫 Daktiem Kindergarten.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement and smiles, highlighted by adorable and lively cultural performances by the kindergarten students, who showcased their talents and brought joy to everyone present. The team distributed various gifts to the children, including school supplies, sports equipment, and toys, to support their development and create a bright, vibrant learning environment. At the same time, hygiene supplies such as detergent and soap were also distributed to the parents who attended the event.

The German-Lao Association for Development and all stakeholders are immensely proud to contribute to early childhood education and to bring smiles to the future of the nation. 💖
