They were amusing themselves by unwrapping mummies! Several aristocrats gathered in a specially equipped room and took the bandages off an old co**se. After the party they took the deceased’s cursed jewelry as keepsakes. Of particular interest was ancient Egypt. It is well known that paint was also made out of mummies (the “Mummy Brown” color), the remains were also used as medicine.
