The Spot Bay Committee joins with the community in mourning the loss of another Spot Bay legend; Burns Chesley Scott.
He will be fondly remembered by us for his outgoing engaging personality: his penchant for entertaining and sharing a good joke.
He was courageous and remained happy despite the ravages of his illness and never missed an opportunity to show his dancing skills.
Our sincere condolences to his wife Judith (Jobie) & his children and extended family.
RIP Burnsie🙏🙏🙏

He passed on February 1st, 2026.

Proceeded in death by:
Parents: Pennel and Trixie Scott
Sister: Alverda Scott.

Left to mourn his passing are:
Spouse: Judith Dawn Scott
His Daughters and spouse: Elizabeth Scott and Companion Raymond Hurlston, Rometta Scott-Fowler and Husband Paul Fowler.
His Sons: Kelly Scott, Chris Scott, Ched Scott and Pecos Scott.

Brothers:Tenson Scott and Spouse Starrie Scott
Gary Scott and Spouse Bethany Scott.

The funeral service for the late Burns Chesley Scott will be held on Saturday February 21st, 2026 at 2:00pm at the Church Of God Holiness in Spot Bay, Cayman Brac.

Interment will follow at the Spot Bay Cemetery.
