I have been offering a few tips for the beginner colourist and Tip #2 is... when you are colouring keep a piece of scratch paper with you at all times!π€
πA scratch paper is where you can try anything you want beforehand to make sure it comes out like how you envisioned.
This page is where you can try out all the different colours you are hoping to use on your colouring page. It is where you can try all the different colour combos you may want to use or try out any new techniques.
β¦ because if you want to knowβ¦.
πHow do these colours look together?
πHow do these colours blend together?
πIt will be impossible to know unless you try it out!
You often times see me showing you the paper where I am trying out the colours before I put them down on paper. There have been numerous pages that I have destroyed because I have used the wrong colour or the wrong blendβ¦.π
So to avoid having to do a work around or a cover up with little to no success...Your scratch paper is your best friend for when you get going!
Happy Colouring!
xoxo

I wanted to share my own colouring creation from . It is the title page from the book and I decided it would be really fun to go through and colour some of the pages and share them with you. Just in case you needed some inspiration. π
Colouring makes your brain relax in ways you never would have thought. Which is a big reason why adult colouring is so popular! So if you havent already, I insist you give colouring a try.π
Check out this wonderful pink Caymanian cottage! I was inspired by the cottage that is in the Botanic park located in Frank Sound.
