Eight team members were honored and privileged to represent the in the opening Parade of Nations during the Vex World Robotics Competition on April 28 in St. Louis, Missouri. Our youngest and oldest team members carried the Cayman flag on the stage to the cheers and applause of thousands of fellow teams, competitors and supporters from 50+ other countries and nations.
The calls of two Cayman conch shells - just like Cayman fishermen of days past - were also a beacon... their sound only eclipsed only by the audience's enthusiasm in a stadium that can hold 1/3 of Cayman's population.
