Patient transport that ended in deadly helicopter crash was turned down by 2 companies 02/02/2019

Pilots and medical crews don't like to refuse missions since they know people are depending on them, but professionals know when it is better not to fly. Turning down a mission doesn't mean they are too lazy to fly, only that they don't want to endanger their crew or the patient. When a crew forgets that, it too often ends in disaster. Unfortunately, it happens in some places. May they Rest in Peace.

Patient transport that ended in deadly helicopter crash was turned down by 2 companies HealthNet said the pilot assigned to the base declined to complete the flight due to “atmospheric conditions which fell below published operational weather minimums.”
