The Ordo Franciscanus Saecularis joined the whole Church and the Holy Father at the closing of the 2025 Jubilee of Hope.
The OFS commits itself to being a living witness in spreading the Gospel through poverty, humility, and obedience, living according to the Gospel by following the life and example of our Seraphic Father, Saint Francis of Assisi.

🐾 Blessings for Pets 2025 🐾
Each year on the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi (October 4), many people bring their beloved pets to church to receive a special blessing. This tradition honors St. Francis’ deep love for all of God’s creatures, beautifully expressed in his Canticle of the Creatures.
It’s a meaningful way to thank God for the animals who bring joy, companionship, and comfort into our lives.
You can also pray for and bless your pets at home — showing gratitude for their presence and asking for their continued health and happiness.
