KUWAIT CITY, Jun 19: Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of its daily flights between Doha and Kuwait
City starting June 21, with services operating from Terminal 4 at Kuwait International Airport. Also, Etihad will
operate from 23rd June, and Oman Air from 25th June.
The airline said it has restored 85% of its pre-crisis operational capacity as part of efforts to strengthen
efficiency and enhance the passenger experience. Qatar Airways also announced organizational changes,
including the creation of two new positions aimed at improving operational oversight and integrating customer
engagement under a unified strategic framework.
Meanwhile, Kuwait International Airport confirmed that normal operations have resumed following recent
disruptions that led to the suspension and rescheduling of some flights. Airport authorities said air traffic has
returned to scheduled timings and advised travelers to verify flight updates through their airlines and official
channels before heading to the airport.
The resumption of services marks a further step toward restoring regional air connectivity and normal travel
operations.
KUWAIT CITY, Jun 11: The Directorate General of Civil Aviation announced the resumption of normal air
traffic in Kuwaiti airspace following the easing of conditions that had previously necessitated
precautionary measures.
In a statement, the authority confirmed that it continues to closely monitor the situation around the clock in
coordination with relevant local and international bodies to ensure the highest levels of aviation safety and
security.
The Directorate also confirmed that operations at Kuwait International Airport have returned to normal, with
flights resuming according to approved schedules. It added that monitoring and evaluation of developments
will continue, with immediate action to be taken if required.
Reiterating its commitment to passenger safety and air navigation security, the authority urged travelers and
airlines to follow official channels for the latest updates and operational information.
KUWAIT CITY, Jun 8: The Ministry of Interior has issued a new circular regulating domestic worker
recruitment, updating approved source countries and restricting recruitment from several others as
part of revised labor procedures.
According to the circular, recruitment of domestic workers (both male and female) is now permitted from 10
countries, including South Africa, Benin, Senegal (males only), Eritrea, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Sri Lanka
(Ceylon), India, Vietnam, and Nepal. Authorities stated that recruitment procedures will be processed through
governorate-level service centers to streamline applications.

At the same time, the circular includes a list of 27 countries from which recruitment is prohibited. The decision
was based on assessments and recommendations from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Health,
and the Public Authority for Manpower, with restrictions in some cases applying only to female domestic
workers.
Officials noted that the updated policy takes into account diplomatic and administrative factors, as some listed
countries have representation in Kuwait while others do not. The directive has been circulated to residency
affairs departments and relevant service centers and is already in effect as of the latest update.
KUWAIT CITY, Jun 3: The official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad, announced
that hospitals received 63 cases of injury following the recent incidents, adding that 7 urgent major
surgeries were carried out as part of the emergency response.
He said the national health system remains on high alert and continues to operate around the clock to handle
emergencies and provide necessary medical care. Dr. Al-Sanad also confirmed that a comprehensive health
mobilization was activated from the earliest hours of what he described as a “brutal Iranian attack” on Kuwait,
ensuring full readiness across medical facilities to manage the situation.
