Any time I think I've gotten over the beauty of South Korea I visit another new-to-me town and I'm blown away. The past few days I've fallen in love with Yeosu. Crazy because I never thought I'd love a seaside city here more than I love Busan, but Yeosu is inching up there. It's like a cross between Busan (not as lively) and Pohang (not as quiet). It's just enough.

Okay, I have to admit that the best part is that there's not a bad cafe in sight. Most are perched in the hills giving you amazing views all over the place.

I'm in love.

Roasting Parts, better known as Farts, is a quaint little cafe on the backside of the river headed towards downtown. With a name like that in the front, I just had to stop inside, and I'm so glad I did.

In most cafes, the music is blaring, and it can be hard to focus, but not here. There was soft babble from the other patrons, but other than that, it was calm enough that my daughter was able to do some school work in peace while I did some planning for our upcoming trip. The vibe is low-key, and the menu was quite delicious. We enjoyed a wonderful cheeseburger, and I had a very creamy toasted almond cream. I would honestly go back there any time I'm craving a burger. Yes, it was just that good!

Dessert39 is one of my favorite chain cafes here in South Korea. You all know I prefer my mom and pop cafes, but every once in a while I find a chain I fall in love with. The location downtown next to H&M is perfection and an ig dream! Plenty of space, loads of photo zones. Want to have fun playing in the ball pit all by yourself? Go right at 10 when they open. Not a single person was on the floor. Enjoy my friends!
