Royal Rampage and Revenge
Chapter 2- Moving on...
"Ah! Yes Nicholas! Faster baby! S**t, I'm coming!"
A few moments later, after the molten embers had ebbed, Nicholas looked in awe at the woman who had eagerly welcomed him in his arms. For the first time in months, he felt free and relaxed as all the tenseness had left him. With Akilah he felt like a new man experiencing romance and passion for the first time. It was still incredulous that she had taken him back after the three months he had deserted her when he went back to Tara.
This time, he knew without a doubt that his relationship with his wife was in the past. After informing his parents, who were disappointed, but supportive, he had spoken to his lawyer who had already presented the request in courts. He anticipated that within a year, everything would be final. The only glitch he had was Tara's stubborn streak which kept her in his home; the house that he alone had invested in and was still paying for. There was no way she was getting it. That was something he would have to discuss with his lawyer, Nicholas thought to himself as his attention wandered back to the sexy, eye candy, who was curled against him. Everything about her seemed perfect - her short, curly waves, the allure of her full eyes and luscious lips, her flat tummy and long tapered, creamy legs- had him hard again.
Later, after Akilah left for her job as a supervisor at 'Golden Sand Development' Nicholas marveled at his good fortune of having found love again. He still coukd not believe that Akilah had accepted him back in her life when he had shown up at her door three weeks ago. At first, she had been angry and had slammed the door in his face. It had taken some pleading and cajoling for her to let him in her apartment. After he had given her some details of the situation with Tara and then begged her forgiveness, she slowly became more receptive and eventually relented. However, she had been insistent that he spend every night with her if he was really serious. She too cried as she explained how hurt and discarded she'd felt when he had gone back to his wife.
Pouncing on his opportunity, Nicholas quickly pleaded his love and devotion to her. All he needed was her patience as he had already filed for divorce. To show her how serious he was, he had shown her the draft divorce proposal from his lawyer. Akilah had been so overwhelmed when she saw it, that she had jumped on him laughing and crying at the same time.
The sound of his cell phone awakened Nicholas from his reverie. With a broad smile on his face, he quickly answered it when he realized from the ring tone that it was Akilah.
"Hi honey, miss me already?"
"Yes my darling. But guess what? I just received some great news." Her voice chirped with excitement."
"Hmmm...you've just been given the rest of the day off and you're on your way home? Nicholas said in a teasing voice.
"Oh how I wish that was true. This morning was so wonderful Nicholas. But, you're not going to believe what happened in the meeting today. The CEO himself came and announced that there was going to be a change in managers. Everyone was quiet as he spoke because we had all anticipated that news. But we had no clue who the new manager would be. Darling, can you imagine my utter surprise when I heard him say, 'Akilah Wattley'. I was stunned to silence until he called my name again.
"Wow!" Congratulations sweetheart. I'm so happy for you; you deserve it baby. That department would never survive without you."
"Thanks love. I've got to go now. I just wanted you to be the first to know . Love you."
"I love you too, baby."
That evening, Nicholas decided to surprise Akilah and take her out to Rock Lobster. However, because he not called ahead to book a reservation, there was no available table. He was quite disappointed as he knew their lobster bisque was one of the few seafood delicacies that Akilah really enjoyed.
Chapter 1...Conclusion
Tara then began to hurl everything from the counter top as she screamed at Nicholas.
"That's not going to happen!" I want to stay married. How can you do this to me, to us Nicko?" She shouted in anger and pain, as tears cascaded her face.
"How can I do this to you? It's not like you really love me; you're more in love with image; concern with what people will think. Well, I bloody well don't. I've played by society's rules for too long and by God I'm totally fed up!" Nicholas roared, as he left the kitchen and began climbing the stairs.
Tara ran behind and grabbed him by his elbow. "Do you know what a divorce could do to my career at the firm? All these years, I've slaved, worked donkey hours to develop a sound reputation...Do you think they'll have confidence in me to make me a partner? Why can't you think about me for once and how you would destroy my dreams? Just two more years, Nicko." Tara sobbed.
"You make me sick! Is that all you care about? Your career? No wonder everything we've built is just slipping away. I don't even recognize you any more. You're a stranger." Nicholas said with a tinge of sadness in his voice
"I'm still and will always be the woman you married."
"No! This conversation is over! Tomorrow, I'm going to start the proceedings so start getting used to it."
Nick responded as he continued taking the stairs to master bedroom. He hurriedly packed most of his clothes and moved them to the guestroom adjoining the kitchen.
By that time, Tara had retreated to the sofa, where she sat curled up in the fetal position.
'I' m not going to give him the satisfaction of giving in. I know he would like me to move out but I'm going to stay right here. I know he will not go through with any divorce. After all, this is the third time he has threatened me with it just to get his way but I always win.' Tara mumbled to herself with a Cheshire cat smile.

Chapter 1 - Part A
Silence greeted his ears as Nicholas slid from under the silk covers, eased on his slippers and padded through the open balcony doors. The cool breeze of dawn gently whipped against his naked torso as he looked out at the horizon. Far in the distance, he observed some dark, threatening clouds which seemed hell bent on releasing rain. The sea which was just about a half mile away, seemed angry too as the waves were crashing against the shore and making a horrific roar. A few seconds later, lightning zipped across the sky and the drums of thunder rolled horrendously.
Like the impending storm which was unfurling, so were the emotions and thoughts of Nicholas who felt as if he and the storm were one. His thoughts reflected on the past five years which had brought so many changes in his life. He sadly wondered how things could have altered so drastically . What did he do wrong? What could he have done to make things different and better? Had he done enough?
He was awakened from these thoughts by a soft touch on his right shoulder. He turned in resignation to meet the slanted, doe-shaped eyes of his soon to be ex-wife. Her hair was slightly damp and ruffled from the rain and perhaps from sleep. Her lips were pouted in a seductive slant that had first attracted him. But now, he just looked at them with distaste. How could she have changed so much in five years? Had he ever really known her?
Tara, not aware of his thoughts as his face was devoid of emotion, urged him to come back to bed.
"Come on Nicko, are you crazy to be out in this storm." Tara questioned, using his pet name. "Come back to bed honey and let's enjoy the weather."
"You go leave me." He said with as much calm as he could muster, not wanting to hurt her.
"Damn you Nicko! Why does it have to be this way? I love you. Why isn't that enough? I've loved no other nor wanted anyone else since I met you. Can't our love be enough to satisfy you?"
"Love isn't always enough, Tara..." He yawned as fatigue hit him. "You know from the very beginning that I wanted more and you agreed; you expressed the same dreams. So tell me why you keep evading the issue? How is it you always have some excuse each time I bring up the subject?" He questioned in a voice filled with hurt.
"I'm just not ready yet." Tara whimpered in a tear filled voice, "Can't you just wait a few more years? We have so much to accomplish still."
"We have so much to accomplish? Or do you mean you? Tell me exactly what we need to achieve?" He snarled as He folded his arms across his bronze chest.
"Oh Nicko, why can't you understand me? I've told you before exactly what we need and I know deep inside you agree with me. But you are just being stubborn and influenced by your arrogant, bastard brother."
"You really don't know me or understand me, do you?" Let me remind you of one thing I told you from the very first time we met. Do you remember our first date over at 'Denny's Nightclub'? When I told you about all my dreams and desires? You shared yours with me too and have I ever discouraged you or prevented you from going after them? Have I ever Tara?"
"No," she choked, "but I still want more. Please be patient with me honey. I just don't want to lose you. I love you so much; let's forget this conversation ever occurred and go to bed."
She began massaging his tense shoulders and then pressed soft kisses along the sensitive curve of his back; while her fingers reached around to caress his cold, flat ni***es which soon responded to her touch and became warm and rigid. Nicholas began to get aroused, although he was still upset and thought about pushing her away. But his resolve weakened when his temptress of a wife stood in front of him with her luscious body just begging him to take her. She was clad in a sheer, red, baby doll negligee that he felt like just ripping away from her body.
Tara, recognizing the smoky glint of arousal in his eyes began seducing him even more when she swirled her tongue over his right ni**le and began sucking it the way she knew he loved.
Nicholas filled with arousal, grabbed her and began kissing her passionately, while Tara melted into his arms and the delicious shivers, that tingled throughout her body as Nicko's lips ravenously sucked on her tongue. Soon they were indoors and on the bed as Nicholas ripped Tara's lingerie from her body and quickly took off his pant. Tara' s eyes grew hazy as she admired the thick, nine inch sword of her husband, which she hadn't felt in a while. Nicholas gently rubbed his hands along the petals of her flower to make sure she was ready for him. Soon his entire length was shielded in her warm, wet and welcoming body. In a very short time, they were both reaching that place of no return and a deep yearning to just pour his being into her resonated in his mind. But at the very last moment, Nicholas found himself withdrawing to spill his seed in his hand. That old habit seemed as if it would never leave him.
Damn it! Didn't he want more? Why is it he was unable to ej*****te in her? Everything always had to be her way and his body kept obeying her demands.
'Damn! Damn!' He swore to himself, as he waited for Tara to emerge from the bathroom. While he waited he grabbed a clean towel and wrapped it around his waist. Something about the way Tara averted her eyes from him when she walked back into the bedroom niggled away at him. Something definitely was up. But he just brushed that thought aside, as he stepped under the cold sprays of the shower, which cooled him down a bit. However, scarcely had He stepped out when a shiny object in the waste basket, drew his attention. He instantly, threw everything from the small, nearly empty bin, on the floor. Peeking from a piece of tissue was a wire he thought he would have never seen again. Then he rummaged in the adjoining linen closet until tucked away under some old blankets, he found the small white box that just confirmed his suspicions.
