Sythat Angkor driver

Angkor Thom was the last largest capital city of Khmer empire.the capital re- established in late twelfth century by king Jayavarman VII after defeating Cham invader in Angkor in 1181AD. The city is surrounded by laterite walls which are raising up 8m and the moat outside the wall. It was used for defense, part of an irrigation system. There are five gates with different functions. Each causeway acrosses the moat lead to gopuras flanked by a row of 54 god figures and 54 demon figures that respresent a myth of chinning the ocean of milk.
