Elephants communicate in many ways — through sound, body language, and especially through touch. A light trunk resting on another’s shoulder can mean comfort, reassurance, or simply friendship.

At the Mondulkiri Project, we love seeing these natural interactions between elephants who are free to just be elephants — no riding, no chains, no forced performances. Just peaceful forest life, shared with those they trust. 🌿
