Mike Ayvazian is a theatre practitioner, expressive arts therapist, and psychodrama facilitator based in Beirut. For over a decade he has been showing up — with displaced children, with blast survivors, with frontline workers across Lebanon, Syria, and Armenia — holding creative space in the middle of ongoing crisis.

In this 56-minute conversation we talk about transformation over resilience, the healing power of theatre and community, what it means to be in exactly the right place even when that place is in the midst of war, and Mike’s core philosophy that has guided everything: whatever you do… do it with love.
