CamAngkor

Cambodia, also known as the "Land of Angkor", boasts a brilliant, millennia-old culture much influenced by Indian cultural and religious practices. A thousand years ago, the capital at Angkor was among the largest and finest cities in the world. Today's population amounts to about 11 millions of whom, about one million live in the modern capital, Phnom Penh. According to an old legend, a pious woman who had an omen from heaven founded this city on the junction of three rivers, the Mekong, the Bassac and the Tonle Sap in 1372.
