🌱 New Farmer Interested in Joining the Vegetable Production Group – Khthong Village, Mondulkiri Province 🌱

✍️ On February 14, 2026, the CRDT team met with a farmer from Khthong Village, Srae Chhouk Commune, Keo Seima District, Mondulkiri Province, who is interested in joining the vegetable production group.

♥️ Mr. Sei Vai, 63 years old, has been cultivating vegetables for one year on a 1,500-square-meter plot of land. His main crops include Chinese kale, eggplant, chili, cucumber, and pumpkin. He is very interested in becoming a beneficiary of the CRDT project because he understands the support provided by CRDT under គម្រោងរេដបូក កែវសីមា I Keo Seima REDD+ Project and Funded and Managed by Ministry of Environment and WCS Cambodia in his village so far.

✍️ His main objectives are to learn more about organic agriculture techniques, gain a better understanding of agribusiness, and expand market linkages.

Team reported, His farm has strong potential due to its reliable water source. It is located near a stream that provides water year-round and does not dry up during the dry season. This creates good opportunities for sustainable vegetable production.

CRDT remains committed to encouraging and supporting local farmers to strengthen vegetable production, improve livelihoods, and promote sustainable agriculture within the community.
