Having your drink spiked when out at night is no joke or laughing matter.

It’s happened to me twice in my life. Once I was spiked 2.5 years ago, I realized it quickly and managed to get myself back to my hotel room and safety.

The second time my drink was spiked, I wasn’t so lucky. I started feeling unwell at a bar, so I immediately went home and lay on my bed.

I thought that was it, and I’d sleep it off. However, the reality of drink spiking hit me hard this time.

Instead of falling asleep, I got up and completely unknowingly went out again, resulting in me returning home around 6 am without a phone and no idea what I had done!
