RESCUE MISSION: Accomplished! ✅🐘
​A huge thank you to the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) and Naibunga Upper Community Conservancy teams who worked tirelessly to rescue a sick elephant calf near the Soit Oudo – Kurum road.
​The calf has been successfully flown to Reteti Elephant Sanctuary for specialized medical care and close monitoring. 🏥🇰🇪
​Community Safety First:
Beyond saving the calf, this intervention restores safety to our local roads and protects our wildlife. By relocating the calf for treatment, we have de-escalated the tension caused by the protective mother elephant in the area.
