This World Giraffe Day, we’re raising our necks to the giraffes that inspire so much of our story 🦒

From the Nubian giraffes of Giraffe Manor to wild herds moving across Kenya’s rangelands, giraffe conservation is woven into everything we do at The Safari Collection and Footprint Trust. In 2025, alongside our brilliant partners and , we helped make this happen:

27 Masai giraffes moved to safer habitats
23 Masai giraffes in the Mara fitted with GPS tail-tags
3 new Nubian giraffe calves born at the Giraffe Sanctuary
160 snares removed from Mwea National Reserve
2 Nubian giraffes rewilded
USD 15,500 donated to the Giraffe Conservation Foundation
USD 59,715 donated to the AFEW Kenya Giraffe Centre

We can’t wait for the upcoming release of ’s conservation coffee table book Remembering Giraffes which we’re supporting. This year’s edition is filled with stunning giraffe photography, all in the name of protecting these incredible giants.
