Lead vocals can be mixed in many ways in order to achieve different things, but most importantly, thick lead vocals make up for excellent pop tracks. Personally, we like izotope nectar when mixing lead vocals but this isn't abt us, what do you use? Here's a video on mixing with stock Pro Tools plugins.

live instruments vs VSTi plugins. This is a debate that can go on forever. Aaaaand we're back. We begin this week by taking a look at an interview carried out with one of our favorite producers by the name of Labrinth. He hails out of the UK with a strong family background in music as well as talking about how he made some of his records. This is a feature on producers house. Enjoy this one :)

hello everyone and a goodmorning to all.
Being a producer in Kenya has its perks and downsides. Normally the trade off is money vs fulfilment. And often, it's the true musicians who stand out at this point. However, alot of artists in our industry are from well off families as well. What is your take on making a career from being a producer in Kenya.
and because we love watching how other producers work, this next video shows the inception of a song that didnt quite make the charts, but from the man that brought us ''ni**as in paris''! Here's Hitboy showing us how he made ''Bow Down'' for beyonce. Keenly note how he carefully picks his instruments and blends them into quite the melody.
