Yesterday, Ukraine’s Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War released a list of alleged Kenyan nationals fighting for Russian forces.

The list runs into the hundreds—lending weight to earlier assessments, including Kenya’s NIS estimate of about 1,000 recruits.

However, discrepancies are evident, some names appear multiple times with different dates of birth, and the information remains difficult to independently verify.
