Liberty Visions Learning Center

We were honored to welcome Kathryn Button, Director of Christian Schools Global Connect and CEO of New Hope International (Australia), together with Laura and representatives from ACSI Kenya, including David Omondi Onyango, Country Director, and Elisheba Khayeri, Nairobi Regional Director, to Liberty Visions Learning Center (LVLC).

Their visit provided an opportunity to see firsthand how ACSI training is being implemented in a Christ-centered learning environment and the impact it is having on both our teachers and learners. Through classroom observations, interactions with staff, and engagement with our students, the team witnessed the practical outworking of Christian education that seeks to nurture both academic excellence and godly character.

The partnership between Christian Schools Global Connect, ACSI Kenya, and schools like LVLC reflects a shared vision of equipping young people with a biblical worldview, strong values, and the skills they need to become future leaders who will positively influence their communities.

We are grateful for the encouragement, insights, and fellowship shared during this visit. Thank you for investing in Christian education and for supporting the work of transforming lives through learning.

📖 *“But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.”* — Jeremiah 29:7

The Hebrew word translated as "welfare" in this verse is "shalom"—a rich word that means far more than peace. It speaks of wholeness, flourishing, well-being, and prosperity for individuals, families, and entire communities.

When God gave this instruction to the Israelites, they were living in a foreign land. Instead of withdrawing from society or focusing only on themselves, God called them to invest in the community around them, work for its good, and pray for its flourishing.

At Liberty Visions Learning Center, this biblical principle shapes our mission every day. By educating and discipling children from disadvantaged backgrounds, we are not only transforming individual lives—we are helping build stronger families, healthier communities, and a brighter future for Kenya.

Every child who receives an education, learns godly values, develops leadership skills, and discovers their God-given potential becomes part of God's work of bringing "shalom" to their community. As these children grow into responsible leaders, parents, workers, and citizens, the benefits extend far beyond the classroom.

We believe that investing in children is one of the most powerful ways to seek the welfare of our community. When vulnerable children are given hope and opportunity, entire communities flourish.

Please join us in praying for the children, staff, families, and supporters of Liberty Visions Learning Center. Together, we can continue to seek the welfare of our community and help raise a generation that will bring God's peace, hope, and transformation wherever they go.

As we step into our first semester break at Liberty Visions Learning Center, I took time to intentionally build our team. I had the joy of meeting with both our teachers and student leaders—sharing, teaching, and growing together.

It was a truly wonderful time of strengthening capacity, unity, and vision for both staff and students. I am so encouraged by what God is doing in and through this team.

From my heart, thank you to everyone who continues to support us. Your partnership is making a lasting impact! Chipo Makaya
