Love lies and one very determined crocodile 🤣,
It was a bright sunny afternoon by the village river, the kind of day that makes even goats feel like philosophers. Birds were singing, water was flowing peacefully, and one unlucky couple was about to test the true meaning of love.
A young lady, Chioma, balanced her bucket on her head like a professional gymnast and walked confidently to the river. Behind her was her boyfriend, Emeka, carrying nothing except vibes and overconfidence.
“Babe,” Chioma said sweetly, “today you’ll prove how much you love me.”
Emeka puffed his chest. “Ah! Chioma, don’t even start. My love for you is deeper than this river!”
The river, hearing this, quietly whispered, “We shall see…”
Chioma bent down to fetch water, gently dipping her bucket into the river. Suddenly—
SPLASH!!!
Out of nowhere, a crocodile grabbed the edge of her wrapper and started dragging it!
Chioma screamed, jumping up like NEPA just restored light after two weeks.

The crocodile, very serious about its job, continued pulling like it had signed a contract.
Chioma turned dramatically to Emeka, who was already stepping back small-small.

Emeka froze.
His brain started calculating:

Crocodile = No
Survival = VERY IMPORTANT
“Chioma…” he said slowly, “let’s not rush decisions.”
“RUSH KE?!” she yelled, hopping around, holding her wrapper for dear life.
The crocodile pulled again.
Emeka shouted, “Wait! Let me… let me negotiate with it!”
“NEGOTIATE???” Chioma screamed. “It’s not your landlord!”
Emeka picked a stick from the ground and pointed it like a warrior… from a very safe distance.
“Crocodile!” he shouted. “Release that lady! She is my… my… investment!”
The crocodile paused for a second… then pulled harder.
Chioma: “EMEKA!!!”
Emeka dropped the stick immediately. “Okay okay! Plan B!”
“What is Plan B?!” she cried.
