From randomly getting a dm to promoting one of the best love songs I’ve ever collaborated on, this journey with Muthaka has been amazing and we’re just getting started! Recalling the events at the Listening Party for Muthaka’s full length project, “Off My Chest,” I shared about getting a message on instagram from Muthaka warmly inviting me to work on a song that she insisted wouldn’t work unless we banded together to creating something beautiful. Knowing Muthaka and her music there was no hesitation in my mind about the possibilities of the music we could create. From there, sitting down to write the words for the second verse everything came together so effortlessly. Meeting Muthaka for the first time in studio to put the song together was even more of a confirmation to me that what she had been putting together for her audience and the world would be something special and you do not want to miss it!
