The Nigeria revised Data Protection Draft Bill, 2020 has been published for public consultation through the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA). The public has been invited for comments and suggestions before 10th September, 2020.

The Proposed Data Protection Bill is intended to establish the Data Protection Commission charged with the responsibility for the protection of personal data, rights of data subjects, regulation of the processing of personal data and for related matters.
