As proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly, 2026 will mark the International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development, a pivotal moment to celebrate and elevate the role of volunteers worldwide. In preparation, UNV is seeking experienced and passionate individuals to serve as Regional Coordinators in the lead-up to 2026. These volunteer roles will support coordination and advocacy efforts across six global regions, and we are especially encouraging applications from persons with disabilities.

Volunteer Assignment Highlights:
Help shape regional engagement in the International Year of Volunteers 2026
Advocate for inclusive, impactful volunteerism
Collaborate across the UN system, civil society, and Member States

Qualifications:
At least 7 years’ experience in stakeholder engagement, advocacy, programme management, or partnerships
A Bachelor’s degree in Social Development, Project Management, Social Sciences, or a related field
Fluency in English
A strong commitment to inclusion and representation
