ADIP Initiative
Disability should never mean exclusion — especially from play.”
In many communities, children with autism and other disabilities are left out of play, school, and everyday life.
Yet play is how children learn, connect, and grow.
At our centre in Mathare, play is not a break from learning — it is learning.
🧩 Through play, we build communication
🎈 Through play, we build confidence
🤝 Through play, we support caregivers and families
This is how inclusion begins —
one playful moment, one child, one family at a time.
Stand with us so more children can learn, grow, and belong through play.

A Heart of Kindness Visited Our Centre Today
Today, we were blessed to receive a visit from a kind well-wisher who came bearing toys, snacks, and books for our children. 💝📚🧸
Your generosity brought smiles, joy, and excitement to our children, and it reminded us that when a community comes together, children thrive. Thank you for believing in our work and for supporting children with special needs and developmental challenges.
🙏 We warmly welcome other well-wishers, partners, and friends to visit our centre, interact with the children, and be part of this journey of hope and transformation. Every visit, every contribution, and every kind word makes a difference.
📍 Our doors are always open.

Yesterday, a young girl visited ADIP Initiative experiencing back and hand discomfort associated with kyphosis, a spinal condition that can affect posture, comfort, and daily functioning. Due to limited access to rehabilitation services, she had been managing the discomfort on her own.
At our centre, we provided gentle, supportive therapy aimed at comfort, posture awareness, and improved mobility — always working within safe limits and encouraging appropriate medical follow-up.
✨ Today, she returned to the centre after reporting some relief and improved comfort compared to the previous day.
For us, her return speaks volumes.
It highlights how community-based supportive care can bring meaningful relief and hope, even when resources are limited.
At ADIP Initiative, we are committed to supporting individuals with physical challenges by:
●Promoting comfort and function
●Encouraging early support and referrals
●Restoring dignity through care
🤝 With the support of partners and sponsors, we can reach more individuals living with conditions like kyphosis who would otherwise go without help.

She Suffered a Stroke in 2021… and Stayed at Home Ever Since 💔
In 2021, this mother suffered a stroke.
Because of limited access to therapy and financial challenges, she stayed at home for years — silently struggling, with little support and fading hope.
But today, her story is changing.
● We reached out.
●We brought her to our centre.
●She is now receiving therapy and care at ADIP INITIATIVE.
At ADIP INITIATIVE, we believe that lack of money should never deny someone the right to rehabilitation. No matter how long it has taken, it is never too late to start therapy.
● Stroke recovery is possible with support.
●Staying at home should not be the end of the story.
●Community care can restore dignity and hope.
We remain committed to serving people with disabilities from low-income setups, reaching out to those who have been forgotten, and walking with them on their journey to recovery.
