I get asked all the time,

“How are you so confident in front of the camera?”
Well... here’s your proof that I’m really not! 😇

What you don’t see is the stumbling over my words, forgetting what I wanted to say, awkward pauses and the million thoughts running through my head during every recording.

Alhamdulilah for editing because it definitely saves me more times than I’d like to admit 🤣

And if I’m being completely honest, there have been countless moments where I’ve thought about quitting.
Moments of self-doubt.

Moments of wondering if I’m even good enough.

Moments of feeling uncomfortable putting myself out there.
But every single time, I come back to my why.

Because my why is bigger than my fears.

Bigger than my insecurities.

And bigger than any roadblock standing in my way.

So I thought I’d share these bloopers from our recent episode with the beautiful Hamida Sheikh Mohamed to hopefully make your day a little lighter.

But also to remind you of something important...

You don’t need to be perfect to start.

You don’t need to be the most confident person in the room.

You don’t need to have it all figured out.

You simply need to take the next step.

Because the impact Allah SWT may want to create through you isn’t dependent on perfection.

It’s dependent on your willingness to show up.

So don’t give up on that dream, that project, that idea or that calling sitting on your heart.

The world needs what Allah SWT uniquely placed inside of you.

And your children deserve to see what’s possible when a woman trusts Him and keeps going ..
