Believe it or not ,this photo was taken by a "professional" photographer😂😂,in our time if you owned a camera ,you were the official photographer for a family function..Anyway...that's me during my graduation party at 24yrs old

✅One lesson I wish I had given my 24-year-old self:

Your life is yours to carry. Fully. Gently. Powerfully.

Taking care of yourself, your needs, your healing, your joy, your boundaries is not a luxury. It’s your lifelong responsibility.

No one is coming to rescue you. Not a partner, not your parents, not your friends, not your boss. People can support you, but they cannot do the work for you. They’re not meant to.

For so long,I often carried silent expectations: waiting for someone to notice I was tired, struggling, or lost. And when they didn't, I would feel hurt or resentful.

I have since learnt that no one can truly know what I need unless I voice it. It's my responsibility to teach others how to show up for me by how well I show up for yourself.

🤚Teaching chose me

I used to think purpose had to be BIG. Loud. Impressive.
You know—spotlights, stages, titles.
So after I graduated with a Bachelor of Education degree,I didn't want to teach, I chose what looked prestigious: banking and latter on moved into investments and insurance.

But deep down, the moments I felt most alive in my career were always the same ,when I was teaching whether it was a product, a skill, or a mindset... something would always light up inside me.

The crazy part? I had all the gifts for it all along:
Empathy. Intuition. A clear voice. Problem-solving skills but because it felt so “natural,” I didn’t think it counted.

And here’s the truth I’ve come to accept:
👉 I didn’t choose teaching. Teaching chose me and then I finally chose it.
When I finally surrendered to the truth—that I am a teacher at my core, peace returned. Joy followed and I felt trully aligned
Not because I had found something new, but because I had remembered who I was all along.

Isn’t it funny how we often overlook our purpose because it feels too ordinary?

💡 What flows from you naturally might just be your assignment.
?? What keeps calling you back, even when you try to ignore it?
Don’t brush it off.
That could be your true purpose sitting quietly in your everyday life.You don’t need permission.You’re already equipped.

While it is important for us to put effort inorder to be successful. Many a times ,it is the grace of God that carries us through.

Indeed Grace perfects human effort.We do the best we can and leave the rest to God.

Everything started from this 35 rand…
