I am so envious of people who can so easily forget about people they once loved and cared about. I can't do it, I just can't. Once I care about someone, I am literally never gonna NOT care about them. No matter how badly they hurt me, if they still need my help, I will gladly provide it. Even if they could call me at 2am, I will still answer.

I just can't zero my mind and just forget their existence like that. I just can't do it, certainly not because I am clinging to the past. I know that it is better to let go of people than try to hold on to them. I am not just conditioned that way.

I used to think this was a noble quality but with my experiences so far, I think it is better to work on this before it really hurts me big time. I guess I just need to be ruthless when it comes to breaking a relationship/friendship up.
