Yesterday was a great day celebrating women in finance via at the 100WomeninFinance 🇰🇪 chapter. The Nairobi Securities Exchange hosted this event with an elaborate bell ringing ceremony officiated by our CEO Geoffrey Odundo, with Dr. Patrick Njoroge as the chief guests.

We pay homage to the women who’ve gone ahead of us and paved a way in the area of finance. As for us, the women currently in finance, we owe it to those behind us to continue to lean in, speak up and enjoy the ride as we find our seats on the table. And lastly, for the women coming behind us in finance put your hand up, speak up and when you get a seat at the table make room for another women, and let’s celebrate all the milestones and contributions made by all finance individuals with an added celebratory note for the milestones achieved by the women
