Research Assistants for a project within Kitengela Town and environs
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree, Diploma Level-Research related field added advantage
• Fluent in English and Swahili, both oral and written
• Proven experience and skills in qualitative research work. Training in data collection and / or research methods is an added advantage
• Ability to facilitate key informant interviews and free-listing interviews in English and Swahili
• Experience in conducting interviews with varied audiences
• Data collection experience added advantage.
• Should be a resident of KITENGELA TOWN.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Consent study respondents
• Moderate / facilitate key informant interviews and free listing interviews with all recruited study respondents
• Take notes and compile comprehensive interview debriefing reports / notes
• Ensure that all questions have been answered
• Any other tasks assigned by the Project Leader.
• Should be able to perform at least 25 interviews per day the more the better.
• The questionnaire is short and precise
• Successful candidates will be considered for future countrywide studies
RENUMERATION
Daily payment of KES 1,000
Lunch allowance will be provided since it will be within estates or Kitengela town
