A LETTER TO BISHOP ALLAN KIUNA

It is with a heavy heart, that I write this lettter to you. I can't even begin to comprehend what has just happened, Bishop I have known you for close to 24 years, though it seems like it was yesterday.
Your profound teachings on giving and living by faith, are unmatched. I remember in one evening service at chinese restaurant (KICC)May of 2001, aftre preaching on giving, you asked us to demonstrate it by giving personal stuff to one another..I remember I gave one brother my(Hugo Boss) tie and he gave me a ball point pen(Bic)..I felt cheated at the time, bearing in mind I was still a baby in the faith.
Nevertheless, what hit me most is when I gave out my brand new Nokia mobile phone(which was given to me as a gift)..and lay it on the Altar..I can't forget the persecution had to go through from my family and friends..it was horrible.
However as I continued seating under your mentorship and teachings, I realized that, what you give does not leave your life, it actually becomes a seed..that continues to produce fruits in season and out of season..today I don't budget or struggle for mobile phones, when I need it , it shows up or money is available..thank you so much Bishop for helping me become a selfless person by learning how to give.
There is much I would like to say, but let me stop here.
