As a community, we must be intentional in guiding, protecting, and educating our children so they grow up safe, informed, and empowered.
At Jelida Foundation, we believe that protection begins with awareness and open conversations. We call on parents, guardians, teachers, and community members to take the lead in educating children about critical issues affecting their wellbeing — including Gender-Based Violence (GBV), Female Ge***al Mutilation (FGM), and teenage pregnancy. Talking openly about these issues can prevent harm, restore dignity, and give our children the confidence to speak up and seek help when needed.
Beyond awareness and advocacy, we also support families through sustainable economic empowerment. One of our key initiatives is promoting food security through the sale and installation of affordable growbags. These growbags are ideal for kitchen gardens, small spaces, and families looking to reduce household food expenses.
