THE DAY ODINGA DISRUPTED HIS FATHER'S DELEGATES MEETING.
As detailed by a report by the Daily Nation, the former premier arrived at a rally that was taking place at City Stadium in Nairobi with a group of rowdy youth in 1992.
Jaramogi was in FORD Kenya National delegates conference when Raila Odinga and his hired goons stormed in and started heckling him, putting everything into a standstill, his father was illiterated with his son and told him 'Amollo shut and tell those youths to leave this meeting or I do something you will regret the rest of your life"
Unfortunately Raila insisted he must be heard, in his mind, Raila thought his father was too old to be in politics and the chairman of FORD Kenya it was time for him to take over leadership by force since his father was not ready to retire. The youths continued shouting down at Jaramogi, he was furious and told his son Raila these words-: "Amollo, it's good that you have found it worth to be disrespectful to your father by disrupting this important delegates conference, way before you were born, I started this struggle before and after our independence, I have fought colonial rules, Kenyatta and Moi, I haven't succeeded and am still struggling to be president and bring sanity in our Nation, I want to tell you Amollo, if your intention is to sink me down so that you can take over from me, You will also struggle until your sunset days trying to be president and you will never succeed".
This is the curse Raila Odinga is still struggling to fight till today.
