ADSE represented by Chief Executive Officer John Mutua and the Makueni Agroforestry Carbon Project staff joined land use Germany,County government of Makueni, Biovision, Amiran among other stakeholders to launch the Palma Modern Native Tree Nursery in Makueni County. Palma has been a key nursery supporting the Makueni Agroforestry Carbon Project with high quality seedlings.
This marks an important milestome of the project in adopting advanced technologies and shifting from the traditional forest soil to soilless growing media,reusing containers and tubes as well as improving root development systems.

ADSE hosted partners from Wasser fur Kenia during their annual monitoring visit in Makueni County where the Livelihoods and Climate Resilience Project (LiCReP) funded by Wassuer Fuer Kenia (Water for Kenya)being implemented.During the visit,they commissioned Chemchemi school water tank that will provide water to school going children.

ADSE through the Intergrated Food Security Project supported by ANGLICAN BOARD OF MISSION - AUSTRALIA through the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has continued to improve the livelihoods of community memebers in Katangi and Mbuvo locations of Machakos and Makueni Counties. The Ikombe Cluster leaders participated in a farmers’ exchange learning forum at the Kikuyuni green gram commercial demonstration plot in Katangi Location. During the visit, farmers learned about Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs), post-harvest handling, and crop management.
