LOST FOUND DEAD

Rosa Kamoya, a 37-year-old mother of four, went missing in September 2022 while in the company of her younger sister. Fabian Muteshi, who had recently returned home for holiday to his village in Kakamega, found a hole where he had harvested soil to build his house, partly filled with a sack containing a human body.

Paul Lisiolo, identified the body as that of his daughter Rosa. The body was exhumed by police and the family suspects five people in the village, who were arrested in 2022 but released due to lack of evidence.

MATIANG'I OFF NET

DPP Noordin Haji has declined to prosecute former Interior Cabinet Secretary Fred Matiang'i over lack of sufficient evidence.

This comes after the CS and his lawyer were accused of conspiracy to commit a felony and publication of false information regarding an alleged raid at his Karen home.

DPP has directed the DCI to close the inquiry file with no further police action.
