At the sidelines of , women DGs from the NOREB region and UK Deputy High Commissioner together with other stakeholders, held a discussion on ways of mainstreaming of gender issues at the counties.

Peace and conflict as well as involving women and youth in development issues at the County level was at the centre of the deliberation. Bongoma Deputy Governors was also present in the event.
