Growing up in the 90s, TV was a big deal in every sense of the word. There were mostly no flat screens then and a lot of the cool specs available now hadn't been fathomed yet. Still, we grew up around the box... Who would have thought that a few years down, anyone could have their very own channel and even make a career out of it? Akina, "Hiii guys! Our generation is obsessed about my own...my voice, my choice, my opinion, my swag, my vlog, my channel, my 'hustle'.... !

While this is remarkable in many ways, it's not necessarily a skip to the good part.
There's something to be said about faithfully being under another man's. Funny how "character development" is also a catch phrase now...πŸ€” There are a lot of questions where self made and self taught are concerned. Ask the mhenga who said "utajua hujui..." πŸ˜…
The value of training, learning, patience, perseverance, mentorship and apprenticeship cannot be understated. There's a lot to be said about this....
