🌞🥭 Tackling Mango Waste in Asembo – One Solar Dryer at a Time! 🥭🌞

Every mango season in Asembo, countless mangoes ripen, fall, and sadly go to waste. Yet these same fruits could be preserved and enjoyed long after the season ends — supporting food security, local income, and sustainable living.

That’s why Asembo Riverside, in collaboration with VE-Sønderjylland, is working on developing an efficient solar dryer that can help our community dry mangoes and other foods naturally and safely.

This initiative aims to:
✔️ Reduce food waste
✔️ Add value to local produce
✔️ Support families with long-term food preservation
✔️ Promote clean, sustainable technology
