Cooking Adventure - "IZAKAYA Tapas" for Lunch :) 15/05/2018

We're happy to announce you our May Workshop, which will be taken place the last Saturday on May 26th!! It will be "IZAKAYA Tapas" menu, featuring Chicken Karaage, Somen Noddle and Hijiki Seaweed Salad.

Cooking Adventure - "Chirashi Sushi" for Lunch :) 19/02/2018

Our March classes are on Chirashi Sushi again! Why? Because it was very popular in our last class, and very tasty... so, why not? :)

In Japan, March 3rd, the exact day that we'll be hosting classes, is called "Doll's Festival" and we eat Chirashi Sushi to celebrated the day!! So, please join us to make a good Chirashi Sushi and show off to your friends after gaining the skills!!

Cooking Adventure - "Chirashi Sushi" for Lunch :)

Our next cooking class is about "clay pot paella" with black cod on October 14th. Once you learn how to cook them, you'll be able to impress your guests at your home party!!

What we'll cook are:
- “Saikyo-yaki” (marinated black cod)
- "takikomi gohan” (Japanese style paella)
- “Gin-an Chawan mushi” with sea urchin (Savory egg pudding with dashi sauce on top)
- Kabocha squash stew
- Japanese style cucumber pickles

You'll learn a Japanese traditional technique to marinate fishes. Once you know the technique, you can apply it to a lot varieties of fishes :)

As for “Gin-an Chawan mushi”, you may only find this style of chawan mushi at a very fancy Japanese restaurant even in Japan!!

We'll hold "Buri Teriyaki" classes on September 22nd. Teriyaki is a cooking technique used in Japanese cuisine in which foods are broiled or grilled with a glaze of soy sauce, mirin, and sugar. If you're curious how Japanese Teriyaki tastes like, please come and join us!! If you only know "chicken Teriyaki" which is offered here, you'll find that they are a lot different. (Our teriyaki is not that sweet!)
