Volunteer Cooperation Programs (VCPs) evaluation specialist for an evaluation project with International NGO:

Location: Amman - Jordan

Candidates must have sold experience in all of the following:

- Designing, managing, or evaluating international Volunteer Cooperation Programs (VCPs), volunteer-sending programs, or long-term technical assistance/advisor models where capacity transfer is the primary goal.

- Conducting reviews of volunteer management systems, including recruitment, matching, induction, supervision, performance management, and support structures.

- Developing or assessing duty-of-care frameworks, safeguarding protocols, and wellbeing support systems for volunteers or international staff in complex environments.

- Evaluating capacity-strengthening partnership models between international NGOs and local CSOs, particularly those emphasizing feminist principles, accompaniment, and peer learning over traditional service delivery.

- Applying qualitative and participatory methods (e.g., interviews, focus groups) to capture the experiences of volunteers, host organizations, and partners to assess the quality and value-addition of the engagement.

تعلن شركة بروكلي عن حاجتها إلى مستشار قواعد بيانات Database Consultant محترف للانضمام لفريق أحد عملائها الرائدين. ستركز هذه الوظيفة على قيادة عملية تحديث وإعادة هندسة قاعدة بيانات PostgreSQL واسعة النطاق والمستضافة على منصة Azure، والتي تُشغل التطبيق الرئيسي المُطور بلغة PHP الخاص بالعميل.

المسؤوليات الرئيسية:

Analyze business requirements and design database solutions to support applications and reporting needs.

Provide guidance on database architecture, migrations, and cloud-based database solutions.

Collaborate with application developers to ensure database best practices are followed.

Document database architecture, standards, and processes.

Monitor database health, perform backups, and support disaster recovery planning.

Recommend and help implement a new cloud-native PostgreSQL solution (Neon, Supabase, or similar).

Design and architect the new database for scalability, speed, and reliability.

Lead the migration from the current database to the new environment.

Establish best practices for security, backup, and maintenance.

المهارات المطلوبة:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

7+ years of experience in database design, administration, and architecture.

Expertise in SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).

Knowledge of NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.

Experience with cloud database services (Azure SQL, AWS RDS, Aurora, Neon, Supabase, etc.).

Strong understanding of database security, backup/recovery, and high availability.

Experience with performance tuning and optimization for large-scale databases.

مهارات إضافية (مرغوبة):

الحصول على شهادات مهنية في تقنيات قواعد البيانات (مثل: Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator، Oracle DBA Certification، AWS Database Specialty).
